I don't know if this is true anymore, because of the craziness that comes out of this place, but it could be that him plaguing your dreams is a sign that you have some issues with him that you need to deal with. And once you deal with those issues, you should be fine.

... And what would those issues be? It's not like I could make sense of them if I tried!

Well, that depends on what Shikou is doing in your dreams. Although, I'm not a counselor, so you should probably talk with Noriko or that other one if you want to sort through this.
